January happenings
Another season is upon us. Hopefully everyone is well and looking forward to enjoying the many amenities our beautiful community has to offer.
Keeping within the guidelines of social distancing, the Social Club is planning events where we can safely get together.
Our first event will be a “Meet n’ Greet,” to be held poolside on Sunday, January 30, at 2 p.m.
Since we have so many new residents, this will be a perfect way to meet, mingle, eat, drink and get to know one another.
The event will be poolside, with scattered tables and chairs. We will be serving Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas, along with finger sandwiches. The cost being $10 per person. A notice will be posted in our Mailroom with a sign-up sheet. We encourage everyone to join us!
The Social Club is planning other events as well and these notices will be on our website (https://www.crcfla.com). If you have not already created an account to this site, please do so. The site is a wealth of information pertaining to social events, sales and rental(s) of our properties, meetings, directory of residents and renters, as well as addressing issues within our complex.
The Social Club has received some great ideas from our residents. These include a weekly Cornhole and/or Bocci game, Bingo, movie nights and pool parties. We welcome new ideas for events and functions, so do not hesitate to let us know what you may have in mind.
We are looking forward to bringing a bit of “normal” back to our lives, safely and enjoyably.
